Rod Hill, a long practicing Illinois Certified Public Accountant, is a seasoned independent professional. Benefiting Individuals and all types of professionals, Rod delivers thoughtful, comprehensive results.

Starting with a medium sized public accounting firm in Chicago, Rod went on to various operating positions in a variety of industries including steel fabrication, computer technology, telecom and financial services. He has held such positions as Audit Manager and Operations Manager in a public company, Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations of a Dot.com company, Chief Financial Officer of a national consultant to Non Profits and Chief Financial Officer of a Telecom(VOIP) startup company.

For over 25 years Rod has also maintained a boutique Tax and Accounting Practice specializing in Estate Tax Planning and Business Tax Planning and return preparation, along with individual tax consulting and return preparation. All this while also doing Financial Consulting to individuals, businesses, trusts and estates regarding their investment management and the tax ramifications of these decisions.

Personal Information:

Rod and his wife Barb (VP of Sea P. A. Financial Group, LTD) have worked together for twenty years in the Accounting, Finance and Administration areas of a variety of companies. They enjoy meeting new business associates, people in different professions and traveling (road trips) around the country enhancing these relationships. They even lived on a houseboat for over three years- yes, year-round- in Illinois!
