J. Martin LeFiles, Jr., ChFC, provides fee-only personal financial planning and investment advisory services to individuals, professionals, and small business owners.
Marty holds the Chartered Financial Consultant professional financial planning designation and is an Investment Advisor Representative with Interactive Financial Advisors.
The ChFC designation is awarded by the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA, one of the nation’s oldest and most recognized financial sciences educational institutions, to financial advisors who have completed a rigorous program of study and testing in the key disciplines of comprehensive financial planning, including retirement planning, investments, insurance, income taxation, and estate planning.
In addition to the ChFC credential, Marty also holds a BBA in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from Valdosta State University, and is a former small business consultant with the Small Business Development Center at Valdosta State University.
Marty has also been actively involved in civic affairs, having served as President of the Azalea City Kiwanis Club, President of the VSU Alumni Association, and is a past member of the Southern Georgia Area Agency on Aging Council. He was a founding member of the Valdosta-Lowndes County chapter of Easter Seals Southern Georgia, and recently completed serving a six year term as Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors of the Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce.
